Krista Henderson
Personal Trainer & Fitness Coach
“Train like an athlete”
This is the advice Krista received from the Fitness Director of her own health club on May 21, 2004, when she renewed her vow of living an active and healthy lifestyle.
Since that day back in May, Krista’s life has changed dramatically. She's lost over 50 lbs, changed her body composition, and became a Certified Can-Fit-Pro Personal Trainer Specialist, Certified Johnny G Spinning Instructor and amateur triathlete. To date she has raced in over 20 endurance events including triathlon, duathlon, cycling and walking.
Krista’s Purpose
Krista became so passionate about her new lifestyle, that she decided to become a Personal Trainer & Online Fitness Coach, with a speciality in plus size fitness - believing she can help others who have a desire to improve their health & life overall.
She loves leveraging her education, personal experiences and own journey (working towards her own optimum health) to motivate others and inspire them that anyone at any size, any skill level, can be active, enjoy it and if they desire, to become an athlete.
Krista believes that people may respond better to a Fitness Instructor, who “looks” like them, someone who can understand their challenges of either starting a new fitness routine, staying motivated, releasing unwanted weight and more.
Krista’s Philosophy
She believes anyone can start being fit and active right away, that you don’t have to wait until you’ve lost 15 lbs!!
